The application deadline is MARCH 2, 2012 Scholarship for children of Electric Cooperative member/consumers Logan County Electric Cooperative awards four scholarships each spring to outstanding seniors planning to attend college. The students are members' children and are selected by an application and interview process. The young man and young woman chosen to receive the top two awards in Logan County are then eligible to compete with students from the 25 other electric cooperatives in Ohio for additional scholarship money - up to an additional $2,800! Touchstone Energy® Achievement Scholarship This scholarship is to reward a student whose activities reflect the Touchstone Energy core values of accountability, integrity, innovation and commitment to community, as well as their drive and dedication to achieve a college education despite any personal obstacles or special challenges they have faced. The applicants must be children whose parents or guardians are members of the Logan County Electric Cooperative. The application must include a high school transcript, a letter of recommendation and a letter of nomination. A minimum overall grade point of 2.75 (on a 4.0 scale) is required.
