Scholarship for children of Electric Cooperative member/consumers

Logan County Electric Cooperative awards four scholarships each spring to outstanding seniors planning to attend college. The students must be children of Logan County Electric Cooperative members and will be selected by an application and interview process (students who have their tuition, room/board and books already paid for by the college/university they will attend are not eligible). The young man and young woman chosen to receive the top two awards in Logan County are then eligible to compete with students from the 24 other electric cooperatives in Ohio for additional scholarship money - up to an additional $2,800! The top two winners each receive $1,000 locally, second place winners in each division receive $500 and third place winners receive $350. The next application deadline is MARCH 16, 2011.
