Electric Water Heater Incentive Program

One of the advantages of belonging to an electric cooperative is that we help you get the best electric water heater available today, the Marathon®. We can't offer this discount to just anyone, only to our members. But then, this Water Heater Program is just one of the many benefits only an electric cooperative can provide.

Where can I get a Marathon® water heater?

The Logan County Electric Cooperative stocks three sizes of Marathon® water heaters. If you build a new home on our system or replace your fossil fueled water heater with a Marathon®, we’ll take $250 off the purchase price!

Warranty

Marathon® water heater comes with a lifetime warranty on the tank and a six year warranty on replacement parts. The warranty also includes a labor credit of up to $100 if the tank itself needs to be replaced and a labor credit of up to $75 toward the replacement parts for six years from the date of manufacture.

What if I have an electric water heater that needs to be replaced?

You may purchase a Marathon® from the Cooperative or shop elsewhere for another brand. The Cooperative no longer provides a rebate for replacement water heaters.

	The following criteria must be met in order for the $250 discount to be received by the member: All water heaters must have a radio controlled switch (RCS) installed by the co-op Electric water heater must replace a fossil-fueled unit or must be used in a newly constructed home on Co-op's lines
